The Bureau of Cannabis Control is the lead agency in developing regulations for medical and adult-use cannabis in California. The Bureau is responsible for licensing retailers, distributors, testing labs and microbusinesses.
State Licensing Fees
The state will require an application fee with each submission. Once approved an annual license fee shall be paid to the department prior to issuance of a license or renewal. The fee schedule is the same for adult-use and medicial licenses, as follows:
